An article in The Huffington Post on April 9th brought attention to the 50th Anniversary of the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and the limited inroads that have been made to date. Since its inception in 1990, Solomon Page Group has continued its commitment to provide a level playing field - not only are 52% of our employees women, but 53% of SPG's managers are women. Our focus is to hire the most talented, skilled and committed people. Our strategy is to not only foster an entrepreneurial, progressive culture but to provide consideration for work/life balance. This formula has proven to be very successful for us. Only time will tell if the Equal Pay Day will take another 45 years, as the article suggests.
