E.A. Hughes, a division of Solomon Page specializing in retail and consumer-focused executive search, partnered with apparel company Perry Ellis in identifying and placing Lynn Flynn as its newest Chief Operating Officer, where she will play an integral role in strategically leading their licensing business.
Managing Director Ann MacCarthy led the search and took a unique and personalized approach based on the needs of the Perry Ellis organization. The team was able to assess the technical and cultural fit of candidates evaluated for the COO role as a result of behavioral interviewing, in-depth screening, and a competency-based framework, which accurately defined the skills that Perry Ellis required. Flynn was identified as such based on her extensive experience and reputation within the industry.
Flynn brings more than 20 years of innovative operations and licensing experience in retail and apparel industries to Perry Ellis. Most recently, she served as the EVP of Global Licensing at PVH Corp. Earlier in her career, Flynn held executive positions in licensing on both the brand and agency side.
“We are thrilled to have played an integral role in placing Lynn in this important role,” said Managing Director Ann MacCarthy. “It is a privilege to continue working with longstanding partners in identifying and placing exceptional talent, and I look forward to observing the future success this key placement will bring to Perry Ellis.”
